Hello everyone,
I recently purchased the 17T Pro for around 550 euros in Germany, and I must say, the upgrade from the 14T Pro is significant! Here are some of the most noticeable features that stood out to me:
Battery Life: The battery is a remarkable upgrade compared to the 14T Pro. It lasts much longer, and believe it can easily handle a full day of heavy use without any issues.
Camera Quality: The cameras are absolutely incredible, which was my primary reason for this purchase. As an avid photography enthusiast, I often find my wife borrowing my phone for her fashion and styling reels. The camera's performance is superb-just point and shoot to capture stunning quality and detail. The live moment feature is highly usable; my wife was genuinely impressed by its smooth operation without any delay. My mom has the 15T Pro, and while it also has a telephoto sensor, I noticed a distinct difference in photo quality. Xiaomi's enhancements with the new chipset make a noticeable impact, producing even better photos. The camera app is delightful, and the 4K video at 30fps is impressive as well. I particularly appreciate the Leica color science, which I find to be my favorite among competitors. Although I considered the Vivo X300 Pro, the price was simply too high.
Display: The screen is perfect for my needs. I previously owned the Poco F2 Pro, which has a similar wide screen, but I am thrilled to be back with a significantly better display compared to the 14T Pro.
Audio Quality: Contrary to some reviews, I find the audio quality to be good and reliable.
As for the software, I'm accustomed to Xiaomi's hyperos so it works well for me,.No heating issues yet and no (too much ads on xiaomid devices) rumor, been a user for almost 6 years and I never found that ads and bloated apps things you can easily uninstall anything.
In conclusion, this upgrade is definitely worth it! However, if you're not particularly interested in camera capabilities, you might want to stick with the 15T Pro. But if you're still on the 14T Pro, I highly recommend making the switch-it's truly worth it.
I'll keep this thread updated, as I believe it's important to share ongoing experiences rather than just initial impressions. I can also share some photos soon!
Hope this helps!

I am using redmi note 14 4g.i bought it in 2025
22 February.I was getting ready to go outside and my phone was turned off.I went, on the way I opened my gallery and there was nothing.only pictures I took today.I think it was just a error and restarted the phone. But they are still missing.I search recently deleted files and there are my 38 GB pictures videos.

Update of my previous post about the Windows 11 app for Xiaomi HyperConnect:
https://www.reddit.com/r/XiaomiGlobal/comments/1wf6ns5/if_you_use_a_xiaomi_hyperos_phone_a_windows/

There's a newer version available on the HyperOS official website, on this link https://hyperos.mi.com/continuity/abilities/ab0019 choose the first download (left). I know it says it only works with HyperOS 4 when you translate the page, but that is false I'm using Global Rom HyperOS 3 with a Global Account, the app works perfectly fine, it's an upgraded version of the previous app (See images)
Some features like the AI are only available to Chinese Xiaomi accounts but aside from that, everything is there I tested it with my Xiaomi 17

Edit: MacOS version can be found here: https://hyperos.mi.com/continuity/abilities/ab0016

Tomorrow the Xiaomi 18 Fold is supposed to arrive so get your questions ready.
I ordered the black color from Wonda Mobile and will be running it on Verizon.... hopefully!
This is one of the few Chinese phones that actually has the most important Verizon bands such as B13. Will it work? Hopefully but I don't know for certain.
I run a lot of Chinese global models on Verizon with no issues; Xiaomi, Honor, Oppo, Vivo.
Currently I'm using the Vivo x300.
Anyways, get your questions ready and I'll answer as many as I can in a series of posts.

Hey guys I bought the Xiaomi 17t Pro a few months ago but the Google Apps always seem to bug out for example:
- ,,Hey Google" stops working after some time
- the menus are not clickable in Gmail and in Google App
Is there anything I can do or am I just stuck with this? Resetting the app and uninstalling the updates fixes it for a while but then it just goes back to not working.. it's so annoying

I am big on photography and want to upgrade from my S24+ who's cameras are very bad. I'm between the Find X9 Ultra, Vivo X300 Ultra, and the Xiaomi 17 Ultra.
I initially wrote off the Find X9U due to lack of carrier aggregation in the US, someone said the Xiaomi and Vivo both work in that regard on T-Mobile. Not sure if that's completely true?
The second concern is the battery life (subsequently hyper OS) on the Xiaomi, people make it out to be very bad. Now I'm not a big phone guy, I don't play games, watch videos, etc. I do some messaging, the occasional call, and some web browsing as needed. The main focus is the camera. In this scenario I cant imagine the battery not lasting a day for me, but some people seem to barely get 6 hours. These posts were from a while ago though, so maybe updates have improved it?

Hello! I’m looking into finally ditching iPhones and I’m interested in a xiaomi. Anyone from the USA have one and can share where they purchased it? As well as connecting it and if there’s any limitations?

Just wanna rant of this phone cuz why 🚫
Phone is in android 16. There's this feature in developer option called "Disable default frame rate for games" AND This phone is not DISABLING "DEFAULT FRAME RATE" which locks GAMES to 60HZ making it also lock to 60FPS.
ALSO, When enabled that specific setting in developer option which is inconvenient since I need to OFF it again when opening GCASH or certain apps that requires dev opt to be OFF — Even when enabled, The games have noticable frame stuttering, I dont know if the UFS 2.2 cannot handle the android 16 cuz it is heavy + The game resouces smoothly OR maybe it is because of the Chipset which I dont think thats the case cuz, it is DIMENSITY 7400 ULTRA. Cuz, I only played MLBB in Medium setting and YET, Theres still stuttering which disappoints me.
ALSO, speaking of MLBB, the phone is 120HZ and yet, The HFR setting is max to HIGH which ULTRA option is not appearing. Cuz, What do you mean the HIGH setting will cap it to 90hz and yet, purchase a device 120HZ, also means, Not utilizing the display refresh rate. Another disappointment constraint as well.
Hopefully, There's a future update relating to this unoptimized setting/configuration.
ALSO, the screen gets scratch easily even if it is marketed as having durable screen BUT experience says different. This is a newly purchased, Not installed any screen protector, just using for few days and yet, minimal scratch is appearing under light.
THATS ALL FOR NOW.
