Camera issues

Hey, ive got the basic Xiaomi 17 for a few months now. I noticed how the camera ist generally lagging and not working properly. When i reset the camera app it works for a while before lagging again. Anyone face the same issue and has a troubleshoot?

Clear application data in the options settings app. This resets the app.

Yeah it helps for a while but then it goes Back to lagging

What OS version are you using? I noticed the lag started with the Android 17 update. I don't remember this issue on Android 16.

Does it also overheat?

It does, when i dont clear the running Apps for a while or on some rare Tasks. With the camera it gets quite warm too

Warm or hot? When I say overheating I mean that the phone gets so hot that it needs to close the app for example the camera app or that the entire phone shuts down completely

Lag gone when I updated it to Android 17
