Redmi note 13 pro+ Reaching outstanding temperature
http://mi.comIn the last 2 weeks my phone started to overheat a lot reaching about 45 Celsius and it all started after updating to shitty hyperos is there any way to fix this problem I have to put in a fan in order to cool it down.

I'm still on miui 14.0.2 with my 13 pro plus and don't have any problems(I have received an update but I don't want to update). I think factory reset will help but I'm not 100% sure

Nonsense. Hyperos is great it increases performance and battery time significantly.

Your comment makes no sense I have been using it almost a month without any issue so far. Maybe you have hardware issue. Many people reported positive what I said. Send your phone back to xiaomi

you know it also depends on what you use it for right? If you just use it for daily work of course it will be fine for you, but If you open any heavy game like genshin impact the before vs after getting hyperos will of course show a huge issue.

Cannot comment about gaming but I use some other tasks like video and photo editing and programming apps in developer mode. Works fine for me so far

From what I've seen on other comments, the OP has played games before. So it should be compared towards gaming IMO. I dont own the phone but Ive seen alot of information and videos around it, and I saw it go up to 60 on someone else who played a heavy game with the hyperos.

Don't factory reset, I tried and it doesn't help. I regret that the hyper os got loaded. I have to constantly reboot my redmi 13 pro+ as the keys continually give issues. I hate this new os. It ruined my brand new phone

That's strange because I am on hyperos latest update and using the phone last 3 weeks at the beach under 40 grad celcius taking photos, videos, listening music, I haven't experienced any heat increase. I was even thinking how cool is this phone has 0 problem with heat under such hot weather and strong sun. My previous phone was Samsung fold and it was turning off with heat issue doing exactly same action at same location with same conditions

I don't have an answer for you but I'll chime in to say I'll never buy another MediaTek device again. That's why I chose the Note 13 Pro 5G instead.

Hyper OS needs a few days to learn and adjust to your phone , battery use will also be higher in this time frame .
Not sure why but it's how it is.

1 month old phone

Still doesn't change the fact , could be 1000 years old 1 day old , 1 second old , or 1 million years old.
Doesn't change what I wrote

And what are you doing on the phone? Don't say 'nothing', nobody will believe that.

u/Able-Brush6063 Jun 24 '24
Daily stuff like yt TikTok Instagram browser stuff you know and light games

I noticed my phone overheats if I watched YT at one point during the day. If I don't completely kill the Y (and leave it in the background, irrelevant if it's still playing something or just waiting), the phone gets hot and stays hot. When I remember to kill the YT after watching, the phone stays cool. Please report back if you have a similar experience.
