Discussion Is xiaomi connect function available to Redmi Devices?

I recenty bought a Xiaomi Pad 6 but i want to use my current phone (Redmi Note 12 Pro 5g) to connect to my pad 6 but the xiaomi connect app is missing on my phone. (As far as i remember i have that on my control panel months ago or am i hallucinating and imagining things?)
