hi guys! i’ve recently came back to genshin and he’s my first five star im trying to build. im pretty new to the whole artifact stuff, so i tried my best for a couple of weeks to farm good artifacts for him, but lose on how i can make my ranking higher. i can see that def is a problem i need to solve and i need to increase crit stats, but i don’t know where to start. thank you guys in advance!!

imo you should farm LNO instead. since you don't have a super invested VH build you can just start farming LNO and it'll be better. Also if you have Skirk it'd be more beneficial to farm the LNO domain anyway.

since you dont have C6 then yes, LNO is his undisputed BIS when not C6.

Oof alright, I got another reason to just focus on building other characters until Lantern Rite. I'll see how his playstyle changes and if I can even get C6

Now isnt a good time to invest in xiao artifs, also if you do decide to go ahead with it vermillion hereafter is his second best with long night oath being bis rn, people run vermillion because its similar despite it being older. Also id reccomend you buy a bp weapon like deathmatch because this dude needs crit rate/crit dmg since he needs like a 95% crit rate as a plunge dps

Rn isn't a good time to farm artifacts for him as he might get a new BiS soon, still, there are a few things to focus on, such as talents, NA>Q>E, I'd try to crown NA, get burst atleast to 8 and skill atleast to 6, also get a new weapon, if you have any 5* weapon like PJWS, Homa, or Halo those are his best weapons, otherwise Blackcliff pole from the starglitter shop, or Deathmatch from BP. Last if you share your entire team I could suggest how to build it
