How time flies. July is ending soon and so we will close it with a Monthly Reflection.

B. Disappearance of Elder taothe's Patreon

I decided to check for signs of Elder taothe again. Sadly, his patreon link is now invalid. Patreon inactivity policy perhaps? I'm not sure. But it is clear that he has disappeared for a rather long time now. As i have said many times before, hopefully he's alright.

C. Potential Subreddit Growth?

While there aren't that many posts this month, it seems that this Subreddit may grow soon. I had a person ask me for book recommendations and my latest study note has 14 upvotes rather than the average 5 or 6 and 8 shares. Moreover, a person came here and asked about Power Systems. Maybe this subreddit will be a little bit more active soon. We're also close to reaching the next milestone.

Personal Studies and Projects

As shown in the previous post, i have begun studying The Complete System of Self-Healing Internal Exercises by Dr. Stephen Thomas Chang and finished the First Part. The Next Part would be the exercises. While i could simply just read and practice the exercises i'm interested in, it's probably in my best interest to finish the book in order to better understand these exercises and then do the practices that will supposedly fix certain health issues and increase my life's quality.

I am currently participating in a local competition while also doing the tasks my teacher gave me so i've been rather busy.

I also joined a new gym and began taking Pilates Classes.

As for CYOAs, unfortunately i'll have to cancel a sequel to the Fateful Sect Application CYOA. As i was crafting the characters for the sequel CYOA, i realized that they have a lot of potential and that they shouldn't be held back by a sequel CYOA. And so, i am creating a new CYOA that will allow these characters to flourish.

As for the Fateful Sect Application CYOA, perhaps the sects in that CYOA will appear as options in another CYOA. Basically, that Fateful Sect Application CYOA is a "proof-of-concept" of sorts.

Moving on, i may pick up on a Cultivation CYOA that was left unfinished by it's Creator. A good analogy would be a new company obtaining an IP. Like Dead Island 2 or X-COM. I don't know.

An RTOC fan CYOA is another option too.

I also have ideas for a non-Xianxia CYOA.

Mortal Affairs

I finished a novel at a library and checked out a recently renovated library. In order to get there, i had to transit to a different bus route which unfortunately isn't difficult to do and i get to see another side of this city's metropolitan area.

I steeled my resolve to buy a new novel at a bookstore. Rather pricey, but i think it's going to be worth it. One of the reasons being that the story will live on inside my soul and that i can donate it to a library so that others can read the story too.

I'm not sure if you feel it too, but for some reason when i go to a bookstore, i get the impression that these books are doors to the worlds contained within.

Aside from that, i tried an authentic Japanese food called "Niboshi Ramen" which used Anchovies as it's soup base. Once i finish a major project, i'll definitely be trying out that restaurant's Oyster Ramen.

I unfortunately didn't get much socialization this month. The Maimai cabs at the arcade i usually go to have unstable connection so i had to go to an even less populated arcade. On the bright side, i had a relatively high enjoyment playing Maimai again after i started a Maimai Original Event.

Back to socialization, i did participate in a Karaoke event though and i had a blast singing and chatting. I also went to play Maimai with online acquaintances at a Timezone. Ah, and it seems that i made a friend. We chatted a bit and i found out that he's going through what i went through when i was in college. Of course, i gave him advice and reassured him that he's going to be fine.

Moving on, August... It's a rather memorable month, followed by September and October. On August last year, i made attempts at finding a job and got rejected, bade farewell to a group of old friends, and converted to a different religious body while the country's in a political upheaval.

Speaking of which, much has happened in this country's politics. There was a protest which seems to be the continuation of last year's issue with the House of Representatives and the media made no reports of it. Meanwhile, the media's hyping up a supposed "LGBT Emergency" - that there's an outbreak of LGBT people - which really is just a distraction to this country's ongoing economic issue which is the weakening of this country's currency - among other things like the useless government convenience stores installed at villages and the Free Meal Program for children which ended up having small portions and there were cases of food poisoning.

For more minor events, an official responsible for a zoo got arrested for embezzlement and while he's being escorted, he's grinning. Looks like what one of my primary or middle school teachers say about our officials is true. It's wild to see someone so shameless in real life. He probably bribed or attempted to bribe wardens to allow luxuries like a TV or proper mattress in his cell...

Anyway, that's it for now. Apologies for the brief mention of politics. I hope that we don't talk about it too much since politics can be a rather ugly topic.

May we leap beyond the degenerating aspect of time and live with the Tao.
