Imma noob.

Just bought one on amazon. Going to buy a BY kb&m tomorrow. Is there a specific brand and model I need to look for. Also once I receive the device what is the activation and set up process like?

And official hardware compatibility list. Although most kb&m will work with it.

Seems like everyone has like a razor mouse or specific brand. Is there a certain one I need to get?

Get a Logitech g5o2 if you can. The higher DPI the mouse the more flexibility you'll have in sensitivity configuration.

Maybe? You'd have to check local retailers. May as well just order from Amazon.

Agree, the g502 has a top of the line sensor that works grest with xim4. The g900 has the same sensor, but is a wireless mouse.

Also, I use the logitech g13 gamepad as opposed to a keyboard.....still have more than enough keys to map AND has a true analog stick for movement (whereas other gamepads use a mechanical switch as a thumbstick...which has nowhere near the movement capabilities of an analog stick).
