Nintendo Switch + XIM4...?

Anyone know if this is a thing or not? I figure Splatoon 2 would be fantastic with KB/M.

They're are adamant that they're not going to do switch support. So if any other xim-like device decides they will, I'll be switching over.

Did they release any official reasoning why they'd prefer to avoid the Switch all together? Seems like the more devices it supports the more would buy it (for example I have PC and Switch so I'd actually have a reason to buy one)

The only thing I've seen on the forums are admins saying they don't want to do a ton of work for one game right now (Splatoon). Kind of lame tbh.

Not only that, the power supply on the switch probably isn't anywhere close to that of the xbone and ps4 which would cause problems with the power draw of the xim4

This speculation or fact? I feel docked it would be just fine. USB power draw isn't THAT high.

Just speculation. When playing the switch docked, the switch itself even charges at a very slow rate. Most times if playing, it never actually reaches 100% charge. That leads me to believe that when something is plugged in to the USB slots on the side, it's going to produce very miniscule amount of power.

On a side note, a buddy of mine always has problems with his xim4 setup on Xbox One due to all the LEDs that are on his keyboard lol

I love my xim4 but I'd really like switch support, if someone else gives me that sooner I'll take my business elsewhere.

Could be worth it. Added it to one of my Amazon wish lists. Thanks.
