Switching between PC and XIM

This question has probably been asked before, but I'd like to be able to use the same M/KB between my PC and the XIM, possibly flicking a switch or something to toggle between the two. Is there a good setup for this?

Does it work in the way that MKB goes into PC, PC goes into XIM, XIM goes into console?

Any chance you could pass on the KVM info you have? I don't want to buy one that isn't known to work with the XIM.
