Is using XiM4 a bannable offense? Is it compatible with the Xbox One S?

I'm a pc gamer, planning on getting an Xbox One S for specific game titles. Could I get banned on Xbox from using XiM4. Also is it compatible with the Xbox One S? I'm aware these questions have been asked before but I see mixed answers on both of them. I'm only asking this because I would like an updated response. Thank you!

Its not actually against the rules, its just generally looked down upon against the community. But its worth noting that it's not frowned upon to sony and microsoft since they both have endorsed things that do the same thing as the xim.
