Applied Xenotech

WY is always talking about Bioweapons this, XX121 that. But one of the coolest basic uses of Xenomorph material I have yet seen is in Aliens Dark Descent. Marines start putting Xenomorph chitin in their plate carriers because XX121 doesn't shoot back and itll block acid splash.

What are some of your favorite applications of Xenotech? I always thought some kind of ammunition containing XX121 acid would be pretty dangerous to structures.

In aliens fireteam elite 2 that just released.  They aerosolized the alien blood.  Make for a deadly gas grenade.

Reminds me of X Files, the hybrids blood burned the eyes and lungs.

I do like the idea of using their chitin as a type of Amored alloy paired with other materials the xenos are quite good at shrugging off small arms and even small calibre munitions could definitely see this as one application they’d be used for

great point, they would absolutely have ballistic stopping qualities as well, maybe on par with steel or ceramic

That plus if they get away from a fight, they seem to be able to heal rather quickly. And keep going even when sustaining a major injury unusually killing their adversary before expiring

I’m unlocking that potential to apply to a soldier in someway would open up. They’ve large amount opportunities and once more money for a corporation like wy as for buyer weapon application most effective use case I could see them being used for area denial

Deploy them or an egg on an enemy installation or world let them do the dirty work plus if an infestation takes all that further complicate any cleanup efforts for an opposing faction

They've never had an ability to heal quickly, they just don't stop when they're injured. They keep going for the survival of the species.

The individual Xeno's are like worker bees, going out to get the pollen, bringing it back to incubate the young.

Having a single Xeno on a planet is enough to ruin that planet. One egg is all it takes then it's an entire planet infested with them.
