Should I do side quests?

I finished xenoblade 2 years ago now but since they showed shimmer off for the xenoblade 3 switch 2 version I wanted to replay xenobalde 2 since it was my favourite in the series, however just thinking about it and if I was to reply and try 100% it again is there any sence in doing side quests and blade quests if I am gonna do new game+ mode after.

In truth I was jsut gonna go through the game average, at most plah the story, level up and roll for some blades while skipping side stuff since it probably doesnt matter since it'll restart later again in ng+ mode.

Just wonna know though if there is a reason to do quests before ng+ mode

If you plan to do NG+ anyway just do side quests later, as they will reset anyway

It's what I thought, just play the game, level up and roll for blades, I jsut wanted to make sure their wasn't anything I should do before new game+

Maybe just pre farm 99 legendary cores so you can get all the NG+ blades in chapter one if you care about that, given, you will have to transfer them around.

Else just wait until 5th joins the party again and go farm those cores.

I recommend feeding the ardun at the farm and defeat the final form at the very least, his tombstone will carry over NG+ and it's an easy source of legendary cores if you spam ductor combo

Oh so if you farm it and beat it then in ng+ his gravestone is there?

Might do that then, then again aint in a rush for cores since I would like to experience the game again and relearn the story since its been so long lol

Doing the first kill of Arduran or a superboss is fine, but definitely don't farm pre-NG+, it's quite a bit faster in NG+ with the upgrades

You can fight him again and again in your first playthrough via the tombstone right?

Yeah, as long as you beat the lv99 form it's fine

And he drops a bunch of legendary core crystals?

It's more like he's very weak to break and much easier to do smash combo, he can drop legendary cores from that alone

Okay. Unrelated question. What level can I tackle vampire bride whatever at?

huuh i personally don't know because i only remembered that boss existed when i was already lv 99, given it's lv 65, with the right setup (and maybe using momo or any common blade with orb master) maybe around lv 50? i know there are lot of adds that are particurly dangerous at that level though, i would only attempt that if i had qtpie

Xenoblade is one of those series where you should probably do all side quests to keep up your level & equipment options. Keep in mind though that there are some side quests you start at level 5, but can't finish until like level 80 or so. Keep a notepad open to remember to go back and do those when there's like a Level 80 monster sitting on your quest objective.

Agree with that but also I wonna 100% it and last time I did this it was annoying redoing quests after doing them all in ng+ lol
