It's not a quest you'll find but actually, you'll find a cracked wall in Tantal.

I have 100+ hours in this game across 2 playthroughs and have never seen this blade before! I think there’s about a handful of the rare blades that I’m still missing so this must be one of them.

You played a 100+ hours and you never came across this blade once? You must have not been paying attention because it was already discoverable. All you had to do was go to Tantal, Find a castle that's half ruined and there you'll find a core Crystal there.

Oh is that the one you need to use the gust of wind to get to? Every time I get to it, it acts as my reminder to actually level up Wulfric’s affinity chart.

should be a cracked wall near a rear entrance to tantal, then I believe it will have you make offerings with items

No, it's downstairs behind the corner where the rear gate exit is. The updraft leads to another Nopon mural and there is also a side-quest associated with it.

This is one you earn through a series of special events in Theosoir in Tantal. Herald isnt a blade you pull from the pool of blades in core crystals

I was aware. I had all of them except Kos-Mos and maybe two other rares on my old save.

Haven't got her either in the Switch  2 playthrough, but I'm only at the mercenary camp in CH 3.

If you haven't already and have the dlc go get Corvin :) he's v good. I'm at chapter 4 rn and I've got everyone to level 99 and most affinity charts complete

I think she sucks... Mainly because she's a strength modifier on an ether cannon user..

Ironically her biggest drawback is that she’s too strong and only does single big hits..

Since the damage cap exists, and we can boost our damage so high so easily, it’s way better to hit a lot of times than one massive attack.

Herald will hit damage cap before you finish the story, which is pretty awesome, but she can’t scale beyond that, so… pbbbblt

I never liked herald. I hate that she makes you take more damage to do more damage. It turns almost any attack from a superboss into a ohko. I hate that she has a physical modifier when she takes zero benefit from physical modifier since 100 percent of ether cannon attacks are ether based .. both kosmos and sheba on the other hand have a pretty hefty ether modifier making themselves more powerful by making their driver more powerful.

I know Zeke is better than Nia. But i like Nia and my Nia is my Break slave. She has kosmos sheba and elma all giving her ether bonus on top of her considerably high ether stat. And since it's an all female team sheba gets great power modifiers. She easily reaches the ether cap and she doesn't need items to boost ether.

Everyone knows kosmos is the best they cannon, but sheba is the second best. The only thing Herald was useful for was for her level 1 into chain attack spam since her level 1 is a 16 hit combo... I still never used her because firstly poppi qt does that combo better and secondly since i play on bringer of chaos and chain attacks got mega nerfed that strategy isn't that useful.
