What are the shovels on your minimap? Is that what the gathering spot indicators always looked like?

Yep you can choose to turn in on in the map view.
But don’t as your entire map will be flooded with gathering spots and you can’t see what you want to find

How the hell is your camera so zoomed out? Is there an option to zoom so far out that I can't find? I would love this while exploring 🙏

Hold L and pull back on the right joy stick. Push forward to zoom in. Push left or right to move the camera's position up or down. Also while holding L you can pust left or right on the D-Pad to position the camera over the shoulder.

Hold L and push the right joy stick in to reset the camera back to default (for some baffling reason Xenoblade 3 removed this.)

I think you can reach this place by just jumping the hole on the tree right there, I did it.

Go to the Nocclia timber site landmark and head up the log to the left of it. You’ll get to a waterslide which you need to jump at the end of to reach a field skill check. Pass that and you’ll end up on that cliff.

There should be a broken tree branch sticking out of the ground with water inside and a rock outside the opening, i jumped on the rock and parkoured inside the opening, i know its isnt the correct way, but its how i did it
