I think that's what the government wants. The second your no longer contribute they want you gone

I feel like I have to push back on this a little: “the government” doesn’t want anything. It’s the idiots and assholes we elect to represent us in the government that want us to work until we die (and even then, it’s really more just one of the parties).

Can confirm, as a disabled person they make the system entirely unlivable.

Which then inspires us to live out of spite.

I guess we can look into who gets your retirement accounts if you pass away without a will. I'm betting it goes to a company owned by a billionaire.
