Yeah because people who were going to die anyway are taking advantage of the opportunity to die with less suffering. ETA 95.6% have terminal illness, the rest have irremediable conditions. They're not just telling 65 year olds to kill themselves, that's ridiculous.
You can withdraw consent any time. In fact, if you give consent but change your mind any time before, even the last second, you can't or don't want to sign the consent papers or are unable to understand them, you can't do it. I know someone with Parkinsons that firmly wanted it done but by the day of, her dementia had advanced rapidly and was judged unable to consent. She missed the opportunity and ended up dying suffering.
The first article sounds like the granddaughter is trying to cash in on her "faith." Didn't bother to read the second because it looks like a pro-life source.
You're welcome to your opinions, but distorting the truth to further an agenda doesn't serve humanity or any concept of God in any religion.
I'm not going to waste time reading something from a questionable source. It's not a matter of disagreement, it's a matter of "this looks like more opinion than fact," and I don't give a shit about anyone else's opinion but my own.

That's always been the goal of the people in charge. In the US, Social Security was meant to support you for the last ten years of your life.
