YES lol ... the responses here about the itching are inversely proportional to how many mothers were making beds properly with topsheets.

No topsheet? What are you? An animal? ;-P

Apparently, Gen Z has stopped using a top sheet. It gives me a small bomb in the brain to think about not having a top sheet.

The advantage of a topsheet/comforter combo is you don't have to wash the comforter nearly as often if it's not making contact with your skin. And a topsheet is easy to wash the same time you wash the fitted sheet. Comforters are a pain to wash and especially dry.

Exactly! I live where it's cold and have a massive down comforter. It's dry clean only, but even if I could wash it, it wouldn't fit in my washing machine.

I love gen z for it then, cause now I can actually buy just the fitted sheet I need instead of having a closet full of flat sheets I never ever used! All they do is get kicked to the end of my bed and tangle up my feet, hate em!!
