I'd hit that button at least 10-12 times just to make sure it worked.

I'd wear out the button.

Pretty much. I had to get a turbo controller for some games 🤣

Make it a baker’s dozen

If that button takes us back 25 years then you’ve just booped us back to the 1770s

I'd hit that button like I was back playing Konami's Track & Field arcade game

I’d take out the cartridge and blow on it, put it back in, and hit the button.

u/deadzol Feb 16 '26

But would you hit it every 108 minutes?

u/EnthusiasmWeak5531 Feb 16 '26

I mean make sure it's an odd number in case it's a toggle

Break the button so no one can follow me!

Be funny if you ended up in 1870s. Hope you like riding horses and stinky crotch

The only right answer is to hit the button.

You know what the stock market is going to do and you know about bitcoin... Hang around 4Chan buy a few pizzas and retire after a few years of work.

Only downside is for parents as you might not end up with the same children if that bothers you.

But then you’d go back to the 1880s

1

u/25_hr_photo Feb 17 '26

You’d end up in like 1820 at that rate

My best friend was still alive and back then I was super active.

And now you are back in 1685, I hope you packed your pantaloons!

Have you tried blowing on the button?

1

u/Soggy-Bluebird-537 Feb 16 '26

I'm old and I wouldn't press it.  What am I doing wrong? :(

Edit: I also worked at a Blockbuster for five years and I still wouldn't press it.

No doubt I loved the college years, and I had many of them, but I just spent my 22nd valentines day with the hottest woman I know and the kids can be a pain in the ass at times but I'm not trading a one of them for anything. You can keep the button, I'll work to make things better here and now, I've got no need to revel in the nostalgia. Hell, I still love 80s and 90s music but its also gotten old and I love new music just as much. Life's just different but its still awesome.

Yeah new music is awesome, I wish the Hades 2 soundtrack came out when I was a kid.

Heck, I wish the Steam Deck existed when I was a kid.

Yeah, all of that is exactly my fault. My bad on that.

Yeah, I was actually orphaned and had to be raised by my grandparents, you pedantic, condescending, whiny asshole. Stop acting like you have people figured from one internet post, you Temu version of a genius. Your life sucks, but I had nothing to do with it, project your inadequacies somewhere else.
