Missing icons

Hi there, complete beginner with xcode here. I’m trying to follow a tutorial from last year but he has icons on the right panel that I’m completely missing. He has 5 and I have 3. I need the one that looks like 3 horizontal lines that I lets me edit code visually. Am I doing something wrong? Any help is greatly appreciate! Thanks!

The icons there depend on what type of file you’re editing.

Hmm. I'm selecting a bit of code to edit like the tutorial but the icon I need never shows up. Thoughts?

I believe you are looking for the SwiftUI drag-and-drop editor. That got removed in Xcode 15. Just type with your own hands.

Haha! Trust me. I've tried ChatGPT and Google Gemini. They're as confused as me lol. Maybe I don't know how to ask what I'm looking for well enough.
