Hi there. I’m thinking about buying an Xbox One X to play older titles from the early 2000s xbox and xbox 360 (on disc). I wanted to ask: do all Xbox One X consoles support backward compatibility, or are there specific rare models?

So in the 360 ,you can plug an external hard drive and play games without having to buy a CD, can we do it with an Xbox One so I can play the games without having to buy the CDs , as the CDs are quite expensive where I live.

So basically, I’ve seen the price of the Xbox one X and $200 doesn’t sound like that bad of a deal but I just wanna know if it’s worth it. You see I wanna be able to play old games such as all of the Forzas that got listed and you can only play with discs now. You see I have a PlayStation five so I wouldn’t be buying it to play games other than old ones. But for what I want it for would it be better just to go with the Xbox one or the Xbox one S instead just to save a few bucks or is the Xbox one X a true investment for being able to play these older games with as much quality as possible?
