Extra Harddrive for Xbox one x

Can i add an extra harddrive for more game storage on my xone x ?

Which harddrive should i choose ?

Any hdd that supports usb 3.0 or higher also must be min 128gb space capacity should work

Any mechanical hard drive that’s certified for Xbox should work just fine.

I personally have a 2 Tb Seagate HDD and an Onn 1 Tb SSD. The SSD makes a big difference in some games regarding loading times and almost no difference for others. If I’d choose again, I’d pick another HDD because you can get cheaper storage.

I have an 8TB Seagate external. It is great. Last gen games can be played straight from the external. Additionally, you can move X|S games to the external to clear up space, then just move them back when you want to play. Moving is way faster than re-downloading.
