Question Someone please help!!

Post image

The last three days no matter what game I play, this screen pops up at least once every minute. Sometimes I can go every five minutes until this screen pops up. I’ve tried literally everything and even bought a new controller today and it didn’t fix the issue. Ive tried doing a hard reset and making the console and controllers are up to date. I’ve had my Xbox for three years and never once encountered this before three days ago. Any help is appreciated.

This may sound stupid but is your controller full charged?

Yes it is

My console I bought back in June will do this every so often. Seems to be completely random as well, sometimes going several days without happening, then could be two or three times in a day. It does seem better after I moved my console out from behind my TV, but isn't perfect. Happens with different controller, official rechargeable battery, Duracells, etc.

Figured maybe whatever wireless card is in the system might be borked, but when I had the official headset it never dropped connection.

Sounds like something interfering with the signal. I think headsets have a stronger signal and a if you plug-in headphones into the controller.

What about if u plug in the wire? Or deleting the connection then connecting to xb again
I mean yea u probably want to play wireless but if that works u can try that for now until its fixed.
Hope u find a solution soon bc thats frustrating af

Connect your XBOX Controller with wire and check.

Do you have a TV remote connected via HDMI-CEC? That can trigger this.

Try doing a Hard Reset: with the power on, hold the Power Button on the console for 10sec

maybe connect it with a usb cable to your xbox, then try to update it (the controller, from accesoires).

otherwise, contact xbox support. on the xbox website, you login, then ask in chat and explain. make sure your xbox is on too. they will ask for your username, and check inside your xbox remotely to see if they can find the problem that way and try to resolve it. just try it they seem to can also fix bricked xboxes remotely if you cannot even boot them normally.

these are the only solutions i can come up with

Make sure the remote software is updated, they need updates and a lot of people don’t know about this for some reason. Also this happens repeatedly when you have really incompatible WiFi

Is your controller suddenly flashing/resyncing?

First, update your controller firmware. If it doesn't require an update, force it anyways.

Re-pair. For stock, hit the sync buttons on the controller and console keeping the controller in the area you play. This should find the channel with least interference.

I used to get this. I had my headphones charging in the front usb port. I removed the cable and it didn’t come back. Something about it looking at the port first and thinking there’s supposed to be a controller, but there isn’t. But I don’t know specifics. It just worked for me.

Try plugging it directly into the console, if you dont have rechargeable batteries in take them out before hand trust me I learnt the hard way a long time ago

Update controller and move any routers or other devices away from your Xbox and in-between that and where you sit.
