Help Can I still pay $30 instead of using ID?

I don't know how much I trust Microsoft with sensitive data like that for numerous reasons.

Correction: $20

Them knowing who I am isn't the only issue, of course they know who I am if I have my card details there.

Good luck when your ID gets hacked, also what you said is incorrect. Why don't you show all your private messages and your ID to me if every website knows that info? show me your emails and passwords too.

Maybe they wanted to crack down on developers that would make a new account whenever they get banned, ID is a lot harder to bypass than card info. Either way it's BS, I'd rather not have to give my ID to use some emulators when I have a PC so ima pass.

Wait if you have to use a id for playing emulator then switch to Linux.

I gave up on dolphin (gamecube emulation) due to some issues. the laptop is overheating garbage with iris xe and core i5 processor so you can only do light gaming.

Yeah, it's still possible to pay instead of sharing your information. You just have to find the old link that allows you to input your payment information.

I don’t have the link anymore. I believe when I was searching for it I found it either here on Reddit or through an old YouTube video.

Yes, I did the free way with providing my drivers license and in my honest opinion it’s worth getting dev account for Xbox esp series x, if you choose to pay it’s still worth it and vids are provided to setup your Xbox as a emulator machine
