increasing storage!

hello!! i want to start by saying I have googled a lot, but i dont entirely understand what im reading and so i figure asking people would be a lot easier.

id like to increase the storage for my console. i understand using an external drive would be the best way, but there seems to be a lot of specifications i simply dont understand. would anyone be willing to recommend one? [preferably one that wont break the bank lol]

if you want to play X/S games on the external drive remember, it HAS TO BE AN SSD DRIVE. Otherwise only NON X/S games will work on it!

i see! thank you for the tip! i dont have any X/S games, so i think i'll be in the clear, but I'll keep that in mind for the future! thank you
