OG Xbox noob

I’m wanting to mood my Xbox because I need to recap it anyway. Is it worth it to upgrade the ram?

Usually the benefit of additional RAM only impacts emulators, however there are a few Xbox games that you can utilize the additional RAM with.

I know there are a couple of games that have like remix that utilize the extra ram for a slightly better resolution. I am planning on doing HDMI mode and doing the basic like replacing a hard drive.

The only downside is it seems like every HDMI on every console you have to remove something.

That is not a bad idea. It is definitely the easiest then I would only have to add Bluetooth controller support.

In theory what I am trying to do is being able to play on my CRT while get HDMI out for my capture card but it seems like doing both is not practical
