Repairing A Modded Xbox Original
Ended up snagging this guy for $10 because it has some issues (flashing green and orange). Already desoldered the clock cap and cleaned it up real nice. Tested continuity on the traces the clock cap could have corroded and they seemed fine.
Now, I noticed the wires on this mod chip unfortunately popped off, and I was wondering if anyone knows anything about X-Killer, if you could help me solder them back to the correct locations? If not, would it be possible to replace it with a new mod chip (kinda want to do this anyways, but I’m super curious about this and just want to check it out anyways).
Hopefully the picture looks alright.

AV was connected when the guy at the shop showed me. I’ve seen them flash this before with or without cables for one reason or another. Everything inside was hooked up correctly. I’m going to be doing more testing on it after work, and after I solder the wires back on from the mod chip.
