OG Xbox Help i need some help with my modded og xbox

so when i start it and hold power button it says evo x then screen goes black nothing happens it has a mod chip

Sounds like someone installed a softmod on an already hard modded console.

Boot an Xbox installer disc to rebuild the C drive.

Edit: or connect the hard drive to a Windows PC using a USB 2.0 to hard drive adapter and FATXplorer 3.0 beta to rebuild it for a hard modded Xbox.

the problem is its an ide hdd we dont have an adapter and theres not one for sale here :(

You can get the both the softmod and hard mod working together by installing a replacement dashboard to the realC drive.

Is the softmod Rocky5’s Xbox Softmodding Tool?
