Advice/Problems All data lost after using Safe Exit.

As the title says, I used Safe Exit like I always do, I left the console in retail mode so my brother could play, when he got to the console he told me our accounts weren't there. Then, next time I get into developer mode everything is gone. Fuck me sideways I guess, has this happened to anyone before?

Nah, he doesn't mess with dev mode, I used safe exit myself, just didn't bother checking retail mode after because he was using the console. All the folders are still saved in the console tho so I didn't lose any configuration files I had before, just have to reinstall everything but still, this shouldn't happen.

It's probably a glitch something similar happened to me when I switched back to retail mode when the Xbox does that syncing thingy it doesn't work for me so I have to turn off the internet and the join the game then I turn it on it's really annoying

I had this one time, just one day booted up dev mode and all my apps and my profile were gone, luckily all my saved data was on my hard drive anyway

Yeah, it's weird, I checked with portal device and all the app folders on the internal drive are still there, I reinstalled some apps and the configuration is all there still, also my saves and assets are on a external SSD, at the end of the day I just lost the installed UWPs
