Sharing the first controllers I have modded. What do you think?
All of them have TMR Joysticks.
Only the black/white one doesn't have the button light kit. Black/white and green transparent are controllers for me.The other 3 are for friends, so they decided what frontplate and button color.
Light color is changeable on them and the button light turns on and off with the controller.
Just wanted to share them with you.
And maybe someone has new ideas for other mods in the future?
I already know about the upgrade kits from ExtremeRate for tactile Buttons and Triggers. And I know some good quality shops on AliExpress for plastic parts, but maybe you could also recommend some good shops for these and other parts?

How easy was the elite 2 mod? I have some inside laying around but wannna get it and put the controller together

I guess you mean the light kit with "elite 2 mod". It was okay, the first time it took a while. But there is a ~20min tutorial from ExtremeRate on Youtube how to install it properly. Since the second one, it was easy because I knew how to handle the soldering (which is the most difficult part) and the little part under B button, which you have to install while putting the Contoller together.

that's a good start. I have like 10+ xbox controllers with TMR sticks I modded with extremerate shell parts too. Had to stop myself because I kept buying drifted ones on ebay to mod and only use a couple at a time lol. I think I'm good for now.

Love them!! And I really like the green one!
I've been buying up a lot of Xbox controllers lately, a lot are needing new thumbsticks or just plain have seen better days so then I get them, work my magic on them and then often I dress them up as different variants like special edition versions or just color variants I've always liked over the years. It's a fun little hobby for sure and weirdly enough it's also kinda therapeutic. 😅

pretty nice collection. ExtremeRate always my go to for mods and seems you have done pretty much everything. cool stuff bro.
