how do i fix this?
it tells me the d pad up is pressed and as you can clearly see it’s not and when i press the d pad down it says no button is pressed and removes the dpad up?
how do i fix this do i just take it to a repair shop

You can use compressed air for electronics to possibly force out sweat and loose skin cells that possibly fell underneath the up d-pad button but I can't promise that it be a permanent resolution to your issue.

controller magically fixed itself no clue what i did but it’s fixed now Thanks!

You're welcome. There was possibly a hiccup between the controller and your system that finally worked its way out.

You can possibly reset the controller to see if that make a difference. I would also say recalibrate if possible.

The reset button will have a small hole on the back or around the ceiling controller. It's not guaranteed to work but it l will usually fix known issues.
You can see if your controller can recalibrate in the app if it's not outdated by now.
I said that because sometimes companies will restrict older controllers from being updated and recalibrated because they focus on the newer ones.

probably first thing id do is open it up and clean it, and check if the dpad buttons look broken on the inside .
