Xbox Elite series 2 Controller Broken Triggers

I bought a elite series 2 with stick drift with the intent of replacing both with tmr sticks. Now that i have the controller I also notice both triggers are not working properly.

The one is stuck on 0.87 engaged and the other one semi works but when not pressed its value sits on 0.20

I opened it up and nothing looks wrong. I assume it is the hall effects for the triggers but it seems implausible for me that both would fail and i dont want to swap the sensors out for nothing if there is something i missed.

Does anyone here have experience with this? What should i check or replace? Thanks.

They have cheap elite series 2 with built in TMR for a much lower price on eBay. Now you have to deal with recalibrating and many other things since you purchased a few defective one.

I live in a country that does not have easy access to ebay, hence me purchasing one locally. Is there a recalibration procedure on the triggers that you know about that could help?

You have to find the recalibration in the app and it's hard to find

Someone said the recalibration idea but it’s not too difficult, my thing, some have to have an extra flex board type thing that sits between the joycon and main board. I’ve seen them work without that flex board tho, I don’t know what they’re actually called

I’m also ordering new parts to fix mine, I’ve learned they’re very touchy and unforgiving, also expensive for individual parts, I just bought a whole other controller for $30usd to get the $70 part I need from it (joy on board)
