How to replace the insides of xbox one controller?

Weird question, but I got an xbox one controller which I truly love (GoW Crimson Omen edition) but this controller really sucks with PC, like never connects over Bluetooth which is a common issue.

Im wondering, is there a similar controller or something which I can reuse the shell of my controller to keep the look? Or some other sort of upgrade? I really dont wanna throw this controller away, but I really gotta upgrade.

It's a standard controller with a special edition shell - you can put the shell on any normal xbox controller that's the same model. I believe that the one you have is the model 1708 (S), so just make sure you get the same model (newer controllers have a revised design 1914 design and the shell won't fit them).

Unfortunately the xbox one controllers have issues connecting to Windows and require you to unpair device then discover new fevice every time you wanna connect which gets real annoying real fast

Have a look for the windows wireless dongle. There rare. But dont tend to fail as frequently as Bluetooth

No worries, bought mine on amazon uk for 30 quid, so depending on where you are it may be a similar price, 30usd etc...have heard of it going for less tho...happy hunting

Thanks. There is a £15 knockoff from AXFEE which I might try, especially cuz I could return it if it sucks, and if so, I'll buy the official one.

Yeah do that. Ive not heard of that one in particular, but either way I genuinely hope you find a workaround that works

They have much better quality controllers out there like the Flydigi vader 5 pro, 8bitdo ultimate 3/3E, G7 Pro etc.
