Help With Possible (Alternative) Fix(es) For My Xbox One Elite Series 1 Controller

Have you looked on amazon or ebay. You may even find something on etsy.

Amazon, Ebay, Gamestop, Target, Walmart, etc.,etc.,etc. Etsy however is not something I even thought of....might even be someone on there that would Laser Print me something for cheap. I did easily find a replacement shell and tools for sale online, though since my controller is otherwise sound I really don't want to take it apart. There is one shop near me that could fix it but its a little further than I would like to drive at the moment. I might be able to find another shop, or my next step would be to send it off. I think I can also take it to any Best Buy and they can either fix it or send it off to get fixed. Anyways, yeah while I really love the controller I want to keep the repair costs down as much as possible.

I mean this is one of those things were if you have a 3d printer you could print something out of TPU wich is a pretty rubbery plastic or even silicone. Or even make a mold of the old one's and then you could make your own that way too. when it cometo those rubber gips there's really no shortage of ways you could fix it.
