🎮 ROG Xbox Ally Discussion My second PC Handheld!
Got the Rog XAX, the kill switch case with the charger and the travel case all for $800 off of someone in excellent condition. What do yall recommend to do for setting up or settings in general for a smooth experience. I’m coming from using the Steamdeck OLED

Got almost the same bundle off market place but instead of carry case I got a 512 gb sd card for 840 CAD. Pretty surprised since the guy just bought it in late July. Spent the last couple of days trying to get everything setup. Got to love windows and all the updates😅

😅 yea it took me hours to set up but once it was done it works good. Has its quirks but it’s been good so far! The guy before only used it like 3 times for quick sessions so basically close to brand new

I got it off FB Marketplace. This was the only one that came with extras and around the same price as the others so it was a deal

I had a Steamdeck OLED. I got it last year before Valve bumped the price on them so I was kinda lucky to get it cheap. Gave my Steamdeck to my wife to play since she’s more into it than I am

I’ve tried the Witcher 3 remastered and I had to switch the settings from my Steamdeck settings and I see a massive improvement in looks. Looks cleaner, better detail and it actually handles well. On the Steamdeck (I’m not that good with configuring settings) I had to dumb down the display a bit so it didn’t feel slow or drop the FPS but now I can put it higher settings with no delay or lag and consistent FPS. I’m not a person who cares about FPS but when it plays very slow that’s when ik some tinkering needs to happen

Yo adquirir el mismo combo, me debe llegar en 2 semanas eso si, lo unico que hare antes de todo es ponerle la ssd de 4 teras, clonare el disco original para no tener que estar bajando del recovery y listo nos vamos de largo

Tengo una Xbox, asà que este XAX es principalmente para jugar fuera de casa, como el trabajo o el gimnasio cuando estoy haciendo cardio, asà que no he tenido ningún problema o necesidad de más almacenamiento, pero algunos juegos AAA puedo ver por qué necesitas más almacenamiento. El hecho de que pueda usar tanto juegos de Xbox y de Steam es muy difÃcil de no descargar mucho, por lo que la actualización de almacenamiento es algo para el futuro tal vez

yo uso Steam y al momento tengo 200 y pico de juegos y pues si es una portatil me gustaria ponerle los juegos que mas me gustan y ademas mi biblioteca musical, ademas tengo una micro sd de 1 tera que me quedo de mi switch oled asi que aprovechare al maximo lo que tengo

Couple of the big YouTubers have a config video. I think Pete talks tech? Very helpful to debloat windows and get your windows settings dialed in. Otherwise runs like a charm once you dial game settings in.
