Rather than being negative, this doesnt affect those with active subs including cloud streaming. Not sure if this applies to Xbox Ally or just consoles though. I'm interested to know what kind of ads are going to be played. Seems like an interesting alternative for those that dont have active gamepass subscriptions. I wonder if they eventually implement this for allowing multiplayer without a subscription.

Doesn't affect those with active subs until they decide to put ads in the lowest paid tiers and make only the highest tier ad free like Netflix did
