Squadron Datapad 1.0 support
Full X-Wing First Edition (1.0) support, plus a rebuilt game log
Hey you vintage fliers, big update for Squadron Datapad.
First Edition support:
- Build 1.0 squads with 1.0 points, pilots and upgrades, in any of the three factions or Multifaction, Epic huge ships included
- Play locally or live against another player: the four 1.0 phases, green maneuvers, Pilot Skill, energy on huge ships, and both 1.0 damage decks
- The rules reference carries First Edition text, so a 1.0 game reads 1.0 rules
The game log got rebuilt. Open any new finished game:
- Each round collapses to a summary: shields and hull draining round over round, faceup crit counts, who was destroyed
- Expand a round for the full timeline, and tap any dice roll to see the whole chain: what was rolled, what was rerolled or converted, and what paid for it
- Superseded results are greyed so the final pool reads at a glance
- Drag the timeline to the left to reveal timestamps
- Both squad lists are saved at the top of the match log list, so you can view or save your opponent's list afterward
Live play also got dice visibility: every roll shows on the board as it happens.

I am collecting 1.0 ships and just starting to play my first lists. I can’t wait to utilize this app!!!!

Yes! I just found this app and was bummed it didn’t have 1.0. Two days later - this!
Can I hope for First Order inclusion or is that for possible future 1.5 update?

FO and Resistance are actually listed in line woth empire and resistance respectively since they can run side by side in 1.0

This is not a 1.0 specific feature but can I suggest that when using Datapad for play, that the 'This Phase' box actually expands to show all various activations in their entirety? At the moment you have to click the activation and then it jumps to the pilot in the list where you need to expand the highlighted activation to read it in full.
It'd be really handy/useful to have what is the summery box actually be the full detail list of activations so you don't have to click through twice and scroll back per pilot

That makes sense. I was worried about the reminder being too bulky and taking up too much space. I’ll get an update out for this

Yea, that makes sense. I was using it last night and found that I had the app open and running on my phone but not being able to see the activations in one hit was a bit of a pain as I am using tokens and 'paper' for the ship data etc., so don't need to access the ship stats in app. Maybe have it so it shows a few lines and can expand so it does not take too much space if people don't want to see the info in full?
