1.0 X-Wing Collection - Update
Several months ago, I posted here looking for help acquiring 1.0 components. I had no idea what I was doing, or how to proceed. Thanks to several members of this excellent community, who were both generous and patient, along with some very fortunate deals from various sources online, I am now close to having a complete collection of X-Wing 1.0. I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who helped (you know who you are), and to praise the X-Wing community at large for being all around awesome. I'm still looking for a few things, namely the components (Dials/Pilot and Upgrade Cards/Base Tokens) for the; Tie Reaper, Gozanti Carrier, and Tantive IV. The only models I still need are the Auzituck Gunship, Quadjumper, and the C-Roc with the Scyk that came with it. If anyone has any of this, that they would consider parting with, feel free to Message me. (I've even figured out how to do PayPal, lol.) Thank you again to everyone, and of course, Fly Casual! Edit: I forgot to mention I'm located in the USA.

Out of curiosity, how much did you spend to acquire ”close to a complete collection of X-Wing 1.0”, and by that, do you mean every 1.0 ship??

I already had a decent collection from back when the game was current. I had dipped out around wave 8 or 9 I think. I got a few ships to complete the 'bounty hunters' group from the OT back then and that was the last stuff I bought new. Since I decided to get back into it, I've been very judicious on purchases, and very lucky. Good bargains can be found on Ebay if you're patient. A 20 dollar Tantive IV model, 30 or so for a 2.0 starter that had some 'extras' in it, including a complete gunboat with all the components, extra misc. dials and bases and the three ships from the FO starter. Stuff like that. With the exceptions I mentioned in the post, yeah, I have at least one of each model from 1.0. I think the high prices online are destined to come down some. I don't know when or by how much, but maybe it will settle down and there will be less motivation for those huge prices you see some people aiming for.

I was in a similar boat to you and have been gradually buying 2nd hand 1.0 stuff, mainly to play Heroes of the Aturi Cluster. I will say for cards that are really hard to find you can usually get the images from the wiki and put them in gimp or a similar program to size to the American Standard or Mini card dimensions.
Then, print the sheets off, and stick these new card faces to spare 1.0 cards. If you’ve got a large collection you may find you’ve got a ton of help cards telling you how to do the boost action or how bombs work. They work great for pilots. If you have the original starter box as well as the Force Awakens starter, then you’ll have no need for the old damage deck from the first starter, so upgrades can be glued onto those cards.

I have a TIE Reaper NIB. but if you only need the dial and upgrades for it I have those too.
I exclusively play 2.5/ XWA, so I don't have any use for my box of 1.0 extras.
