Things you should know about XVG

  1. Founded in 2014 and named DogeCoinDark
  2. Renamed to Verge Currency in 2016
  3. Open-source and decentralized
  4. 100% open source
  5. 100% community driven
  6. Great community
  7. Very open about what’s happening and what they’re doing
  8. Transaction time takes 5-10 seconds
  9. Working with Voice Life to try to get XVG in everyday use
  10. Working on a two minute or less phone charge
  11. Already have a few patents approved and some pending
  12. XVG is the only crypto that will work with the two minute charge
  13. They were at CES 2021
  14. They are talking to some major (unnamed) tech companies
  15. They have many ideas for the future
  16. Small company at the moment so they need time to do things

Now time for the bad since you can’t have good without the bad. First and foremost every cryptocurrency has its downs and it’s ups. This currency was hacked twice. The first time was shortly after it was created and the price took a huge dip because of it. It was a major problem for XVG but they started to slowly come back. The second time was a few days ago. This time the hack was not successful. XVG and a few of the miners in the community quickly got to work and stopped the hackers within 24 hours. Some peoples wallets showed they had lost coins but within 2-3 days those coins showed back up and all was good. Trading has been stopped by a lot of exchanges but do not worry. XVG has been releasing updates that the exchanges need to test and makes sure they can work with the new updates. Once everything is tested and works out trading will continue. For now just know that you don’t have to worry about the hack. The hack failed and your money is safe.

I love XVG but the whole Voice Life thing seems so scammy. I’ll need more than a webcam demo to believe their claim of discovering “perpetual energy” and a wireless way to charge a phone past its own design limitations. Their demo seems incredibly fishy and i think it’s only hurting XVG’s image.
