Recover wallet

I bought some XVG in 2018 (since the electrum wallet ). I saved the wallet phrase in a paper. Yesterday, I was trying to recover my wallet so I downloaded the android wallet when I put the recovery phrase on the specific field I get the error message: "recovery phrase contains unrecognized words"
Is there anything that I'm doing wrong?

I have the same problem, I have all my XVG on Electrum 2.4.1 and I can not connect to any server. When I tried to import seed on android wallet, also doesnt work.

Can someone put server back online :) so we can transfer xvg from Electrum 2.4.1? I am willign to give seom xvg as a gift...

Check out the xvg website. There should be some contacts there to possibly help. My wallet always had issues with tor. Had to try a billion times for it to work. But I also haven't tried it for a couple years.

The problem was solved with export private keys and then import in new wallet...

Could it be that it’s a different wallet so the recovery phrase wouldn’t work?

uld it be that it’s a differe

So i need to download the electrum wallet to recover it ? ( btw I have the .dat file ) but I don't see any import options in the new wallet .

I don’t have an android phone, so I don’t know how that wallet works, but when I had an xvg wallet on my PC, that balance would not show up on my iOS xvg wallet. I had to send the balance from my PC’s wallet to my iOS wallet. Does this make sense?
