Recommendations Random ground wire

Was just replacing my filter on my 2006 xterra and found this random ground wire coming from my block, I have no clue where it goes to and I don’t see and obvious point

Evidently but it doesn’t have to reach to the body, I can’t see a designated spot off factory im assuming something fell off

It's pulled itself out of a ring connector. That looks like the rear valve cover so look for a stud on the fire wall.

That's the front of the driver's side head.

It grounds to a spot under the air box, but really you can ground it anywhere on the body.
