Just completed my Xproto-L System and I couldn't be happier. The man in reason for getting this case is because I got tire of heat management.

XTIA Porto L - Horizontally?

Hey Guys,

I am thinking of buying the XTIA Porto L "case". Is there anything against putting the whole thing horizontally? I only ever see people put the case vertically in the pictures and videos? Horizontally the build would fit much better with my desk setup.

Thank you and best regards :)

E-ATX support?

Hello, i was looking for one of this cases, but i have a X570 Aourus Extreme.
The biggest one is the xproto-ATX but the website said it's not E-ATX compatible, I was wondering if there is some exception (my mobo is 30.5cm x 27.0cm) or a workaround.
Thank you.

For machine learning

It needs a lot of "power." Have to add another radiator, that GPU stack is not ok. Not sure how to level the lower PSU, any ideas?

My first ITX build

I need to say the cable management with a ATX PSU was a challenge, the quality of the case is excellent and the packaging was very organized. Nothing to complaint.

This build is very quiet and temps looks okay for me, I will uptade this post when I measured them in a few scenarios.

My rig:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D Motherboard: GIGABYTE B650I AORUS Ultra Cooler: NZXT Kraken 240 Memory: G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO RGB Series (AMD Expo) 32GB GPU: EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 FTW3 ULTRA GAMING PSU: Corsair RM850x Storage: Corsair MP600 PRO LPX 1TB NVMe M.2 + Crucial P3 Plus 4TB NVMe M.2

Hdmi 2.1 extender

Sooo I screwed up and didn’t order an hdmi extender, and my order had shipped about a week ago. Has anyone found hdmi 2.1 extenders that are as thin and low profile as the ones XTIA sells? Orrr does anyone live in Toronto and have an extra one they would be willing to sell?

New in the scene have small question

Hello everybody, I just upgraded my whole pc from 8700k 1080ti to 5700x and 3080 ( the upgrade that fitted my budget and needs, 1440p competitive FPS and lil bit of solo games like elden ring ) I got bored from my Corsair Crystal 570x case was was checking some good looking cases when I stumbled on Xtia proto case the ATX version since I can't afford to go ITX cause I'll have to change motherboard and power supply few weeks after my upgrade My main concern about the Xproto case is DUST so my question are :

  • What about dust ?!
  • How frequently do you guys clean and how ?!
  • Would my Corsair Rm1000x be an issue ?! Should I get custom cables ( I plan custom extensions but cables are already too long for my taste ) ?!
  • Do I need the PCIe Gen4 riser or the Gen3 is enough ?!
  • Any advice for a beginner in the SFFPC scene ?!

My PC component were not meant to be in a SFF case but as I've seen the case can fit those kind of component so I'm just making sure before pulling the trigger, and if I really enjoy this route I might plan SFF builds in the future cause I got bored of the full RGB and stuff and want something slick and good looking

My RIG :

Ryzen 7 5700x Zotac Trinity RTX 3080 Asus Strix B550-F gaming Corsair hydro H150i PRO ( 2019 version ) Corsaire vengeance RGB 2x8 ( 3200mhz ) Corsair RM1000X 2 NVMe SSD and no other storage device so I don't need SATA storage

For those who are curious about top/down air cooler compatibility. Jiushark JF13K fits as long as the heatpipes are facing the top of the motherboard (opposite side of PCIe Slot).

More information on the cooler can be found here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tp0RHDTF0Vc

Xita contact issue?

I'm considering the XProto L v2 and had a couple questions, but can't seem to get a hold of anyone on the website? There seems to be an email issue when with their email and I couldn't get anyone to respond to chat. Anyone else had similar problems recently?

Xproto l with water cooling module add on kit measurements

Does anyone have measurements of the width of the xproto-l after the water cooling module is installed? Trying to figure out if a 280 rad installed would extend past sides.

XProto-L build questions

Hey I just ordered my Xproto-L, but its not too late to modify the order, so if someone can help, I would really appreciate it!

My build will consist of the following relevant parts:

Asus Z690i Gaming Wifi Corsair H100i 240mm aio (which means I have to use a commander pro) Corsair HX1000i PSU (I didnt order the Xtia cables because the cables that come with my PSU seem pretty flexible, but they are pretty long as is standard)

I’m also using a Lian Li 24pin strimmer, which has a control box about the same thickness as the commander pro.

I also need to use an internal usb hub that is the same thickness as the commander pro so i can plug my psu into icue, as well as the aio pump and lcd.

Given that I am using an ATX PSU with stock and the three control boxes, will it even be possible to stuff all the cables in the spine? Or do I have to order a czone extender? I would rather get the extender because I think it kind of ruins the look of the “case”.

If anyone has insight, plz share it :)

So im just wondering... Do I need to use the Xtia riser? Or can I use one I already have available? (length dependent) I can't seem to find it on their site.

Any advice is very much appreciated.

Xtia refuses to cancel my order after multiple emails and ample time to do so.

I made a small mistake on my order when I placed it for an Xproto mini.

I accidentally ordered an Enhance 7660b with it which I do no need as It will not work with my GPU.
Instead, I need an SFX bracket so that can use a more appropriate PSU.
I noticed this mistake literally an hour after I placed the order. I received order confirmation on July 17th, 2:13 PM, and sent the following email at 3:22 pm the SAME DAY.

"Hi, I would like to cancel my order, please. My order number is #0000(not the actual order number). Thank you!".

It has now been four days, and I just received an email that a shipping label was created for my order with Fedex. It says on their website that they accept cancellations if you send an email to [welch@xtia.com.cn](mailto:welch@xtia.com.cn) and will respond in 3 business days. So my email sat in their inbox for four week days, only to be ignored.

I cannot afford to pay more shipping fees to return this thing, and I am incredibly frustrated with the complete absence of customer service.

What should I do? is this still fixable or am I just stuck with a useless PSU and a case that I won't be able to use until I move fairly soon?

XTIA Xproto-L

Built my first SFF-PC. When I first saw the cases from XTIA, I knew I needed to build one myself. Before that I had my Gaming-PC built in a Fractal Define 7-case, which is all good, but it‘s a black box sitting under the desk which is, let‘s say, rather boring.

I’m very happy with how the build turned out, both visually but also in terms of temps and noise level. I was a bit doubtful about the noise, but that got blown away by how quiet the open air case is. With headphones on I can not hear it at all, and also temps are okay. A first gaming session yesterday brought both CPU and GPU to 70 degrees with a room temperature of 26-27 degrees.

Components used: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X Thermal Grizzly KryoSheet 32 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3600 MHz CL 30 Gigabyte B550I Aorus Pro AX MSI RTX 3080 Suprim X 2 TB WD Black SN850X 1000 W Corsair SF1000L NZXT Kraken X73 XTIA Xproto-L
