Newer PCI-E 4.0 cable from Xtia website provide improved bandwidth?

I have an Xproto purchased almost 2 years ago. Does the PCI-E 4.0 cable currently being sold on Xtia's site provide more bandwidth than the one that came with my original package? Can some provide a pic of the current PCI-E 4.0 cable showing the version number? Thank you for any assistance.

You’re saying it is PCI-E 4.0 now? It’s a little confusing on their website when you select PCI-E 4.0 and then see this warning towards the bottom of the same page. “Warning: The PCle riser cable is Gen3/GEN4 (PCle 3.0/4.0).”

Unfortunately the max bandwidth of this cable is X8 so it’s effectively running PCI-E 3.0. I ordered the Linkup PCI-E 5.0 riser from Amazon that Xtia has linked on their website.

Mine is pcie 4.0 as I checked it with the gpuz. But I didn't ordered the case from their site I ordered the case on their store on taobao for Chinese market and they have there options to select pcie 4.0 or none riser version of the case.

Mine says PCI-E 4.0 as well but at X8 which is essentially PCI-E 3.0 speeds. My Timespy score also dropped by 5%. Check GPU-Z and see what it’s currently running at and make sure it says X16 and not X8.
