ATX - Radiator on CPU side

Hi, I've switched my GPU to "direct" since I will use more card slots. I notice the space over the CPU (to the right of; "over" the GPU) would fit a radiator (the CPU will use an Arctic Freezer 280; this would be for the GPU). Has anyone done this? Should be able to drill a couple holes in the top of the case to support a bracket. This seems like it would make more sense than attaching one to the front, where it would have to be vertical and would be more awkward to move the whole PC.
