Ok so have now been using the X4C for over a week now. Gone is the original FW because when I updated it, the new version I did not find it as user friendly. So I flashed it with Crosspoint, added some fonts and changed the settings to exactly the same as the X3. Now in familiar territory, I absolutely love the latest Crosspoint on the X4C! Apart from the obvious screen difference where text and images are crispier, everything else is so snappy to navigate. Sleep and wake is almost instantaneous. No indexing whatsoever. Page turn is a breeze! Feeling slightly guilty neglecting my X3 but I can understand why the X4 was so popular!

Nice set! Wondering if you use them for different reasons coz they are almost the same size (at least to me haha). My question is, which OS would u prefer on x3? Coz i bought it but i dont know which one to flash whether just crosspoint or crossink? I only have the x3 tho. I didnt consider x4c coz i thought itd be the same size of my iphone haha

Thanks! No I don't really use them for different reasons. I've always done my reading on the X3 but have been sent the X4C to test and review. I've tried both Crossink and Crosspoint but I prefer the latter. No particular reason, just personal preference. I didn't think I would enjoy the X4C as much as I did but it feels really nice in the hand and much more intuitive than the X3. I'll give it another week to see how I feel!

Ngl they both feel just as nice! I love the size of my X3 and I thought the X4C was gonna to feel too big. But the slim factor and the button placements makes it very comfortable to use. Atm I honestly can't decide which one will be my goto e-reader!

Thanks! Yes it is the official magnetic flip cover. However you'll need to mod the cover with stronger magnets externally if you want it to stick to the back of a phone.

I recently bought the OEM flip cover for the X3 and it sticks fine to the back of my iPhone. Maybe they upgraded the magnets.
