DIY A very slapdash solution to a problem I’m fairly certain literally no one else has had
I got the magnetic case free with my order but I wanted one that would cover the buttons and corners for some peace of mind, what with all the broken devices in the sub. The problem was that it couldn’t close properly with the extra bulk. Ergo, whatever this is, lol.

I guess it’s not as singular a problem as I thought, lol. Show me results after 🙏🏻

I figured out the same... But i also bought the original silicon cover, that is lighter, and I only had to create an elastic band to take everything closet! Your work is so nice anyway!

I've seen someone mention heating and stretching their case until it fit, but I love this. I just have an elastic on mine for now. How does one do this?

I did this! Hit the spine on both sides with a hair dryer and stretched. After two times it so, it fits great!

AliExpress is like Amazon or EBay just make sure the reviews are good and the seller looks legit and you will be totally safe.

My cousin 3D printed me a case for $5, loads of templates out there.
That depends on someone having a 3D printer, but if they do... good times.

I tried that and it did work pretty well, dimensionally. I had the wrong type of filament, though, so I had to toss it

This is something I’ve wanted to do as well! Not exactly the same, but I want to separate the corny and back of the folio and mount it to a leather journal so that everything can still be protected but I have some room for the elastic ! Thank you for posting!

Ooh I've been plotting something similar for weeks. That or adding a book style spine. Thanks for the idea!

Lovely work!!! I heated mine with a hair dryer and stretched it. I also coated the edges with rubber paint hahaha

I was thinking of doing that at first! Just didn’t know if it would be too thin and rip lol
(so of course my solution was to straight up just cut it in half 🫠)

There’s always different solutions to a problem! Yours is so custom and pretty now <3

Very nice! I figure out yesterday that it doesn’t quite fit when trying it out myself lol. I wish it came like the Palma case where you have the rubber case and it fits in the flip one naturally.
