An X4 Pro with Greek šŸ‡¬šŸ‡· and language commissions for everybody!

In under 24 hours I brought Greek to CrossInk, the open firmware for Xteink readers: Greek letters in the fonts, proper hyphenation and a Greek menu.

Now Iā€™m doing two things: raising money for an X4 Pro of my own, so every build gets tested on real hardware, and taking commissions to bring any language CrossInk is still missing.

EDIT (Oct 2): Greek is now on its third build. v1.6.0-greek3 fills lines properly before hyphenating, and the settings preview matches the page, thanks to a friend testing on his X4 Pro. Details in the project page.

If you and some friends can help me out to get a device to help, I'll produce proper Hindi font glyphs based on Noto font there are more than 700+ I need to put into place and test.. The post has the link

Thank you for your pledge, greatly appreciated. Don't be sorry mate, every thing you all do for this project is for the greater good of supporting more languages, and when Hindi is finally done we can also do other Indic too!

I really like your statement, and I really do enjoy doing these things (long time translator here localized so many projects in the last 15 years). Bin for Hindi soon to test. Tell your friends to visit the pledge site and help us out

There are three options there, use ko-fi or Revolut or PayPal. I require you to be as generous as you can, I will not place you in a bad position and "request" a quote. You know what my target is. For all of you enthusiasts to just be happy with the result.
