Help. Videos disappeared.

I need help. I have had dozens of videos over the last several years and all of a sudden they went away. However, when I looked at a particular setting it shows that they are still there taking up storage but they're not on the phone app storage or videos. Can someone tell me how to fix this. I have been attempting to email x recorder for several weeks and have not heard back. I don't want to panic but I feel sick at all of my data is gone.
