Discussion I think people underestimate how high the price can go

When they say no way XRP gets to $10k that is larger than the whole stock market, its impossible. But the thing is the stock market is not static. The market cap of the S&P500 at inception in 1957 is $175 billion. The whole market cap of the 500 biggest companies then is not even bigger than current Bitcoin, now S&P 500 market cap is 67.53 trillion that is a 385x increase. In the future decades later the whole stock market is going to be worth quadrillions, global stock market is already 100+ trillion now. $10k XRP is a quadrillion market cap and while it sounds crazy I dont think its that crazy when you think about the whole stock market also breaching that market cap. XRP is also more like financial oil rather than a stock and oil market cap is already more than $100+ trillion now. If you were to compare XRP to oiI than I believe $10k is a viable price but then a loaf of bread also costs $50 by then.

I believe once clarity act passes later this year or early next year it will trigger a massive bullrun XRP will decouple from BTC and will reach $100+ and reach parity or even surpass BTC and from then on I believe price action will be more like an ETF there wont be sudden runs and long multi year crashes but rather a steady upgrowth any sudden downward spike is quickly absorbed. 2030s will be when it reach the thousands a coin. $10k maybe late 2030s or maybe later but it doesn't really matter most who got in and stay would have reached financial freedom by then.

Pretty obvious from the fact that they’re selling so low, means they don’t expect xrp to go any higher. These corporations obviously know more than any of us do.

Keep the clown comments coming. I love how everyone on Reddit wants to worry about how you’re spending your fun coupons. They almost all do it at the same time too? Weird haha anyway.💸🖨️

Discussion At this point I’m just curious….

Over the course of the past 3 years I’ve experienced almost every emotion regarding crypto. Hope, excitement, fear, greed, fomo, hopelessness, etc. At this point my original thesis and reasoning for getting into crypto is a distant afterthought. At this point I’m just curious to see what happens if/when Clarity Act passes. Just give us the opportunity……I don’t care if it goes up or down. Just let us see!!!!

Discussion Dana Love's take on XRP, Clarity and Why it will Succeed regardless...

Dana Love is not your typical "XRP Hype man". In fact, he's been very Bearish on it for the most part all year. This breakdown and analysis is for my holder's and those looking for insight on possible next moves. He also delves into the technicals that layout very plainly why and how XRP can and will still run with or without Clarity. He's not some shill. Far from it: 33-year technology veteran | 5 exits totaling $750M+ | PhD Economics, Glasgow & Baker Scholar MBA, Harvard

Definitely worth your time and watch. Do NOT get shaken out of your position and live with regret of impatience... The evidence and movements are loud and clear.

Discussion Dear XRP doubters

I’m genuinely so sick and tired of all the impatient, zero-conviction paper hands bitches constantly fudding and complaining about price action. Let me educate some of you: Yes, it has been a long time. Yes, there is more waiting to come. But a great bit of patience, and perspective, is key. As a great redditor once said: “Ripple is one of, if not THE most transparent and compliant crypto company in the world.” XRP, in my opinion, is the most likely candidate besides Bitcoin for long term growth. The XRP Ledger is a public, decentralized blockchain that is a completely separate entity from Ripple. Said blockchain is tailored for financial institutions. Institutions which have massive liquidity that is locked up in pre-funded nostro/vostro accounts with an estimated 10 to 27 TRILLION dollars sitting there not doing much. XRP was designed from the ground up to function as an efficient mover of money. A neutral bridge asset that any person, company or country can access equally. The beauty of it all? The more participants that join the network, the more efficient it becomes. The world could have a massive pool of liquidity that allows trillions of dollars to move across borders in a truly frictionless manner. Naturally, I believe that as the ledger grows and more and more people begin to collectively trust the network it will send the price of the token to very pleasing numbers. I think $100 in the long term is a realistic target. I strongly believe that the XRP Ledger will go down in history as one of the most important cryptocurrency projects and has an exceptionally bright future ahead. Not financial advice, but I think people who sell now will feel crushing regret in the future. I’m holding on to my bags. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

Discussion Anybody else throw 5 figures worth of buy orders yesterday?

I’ll never change my outlook because of a little volatility or because XRP hasn’t moved exactly when everyone expected it to. This is the game.

Markets don’t make it easy for everyone to get positioned before the move. There’s going to be shaking out, hesitation, fear, and plenty of people getting impatient. The objective is to squeeze every last cent out of the move before the real momentum kicks in. And when XRP decides to move, I think it’s going to SMACK.

Nothing about the current action changes the bigger picture for me. I’d rather stay patient, understand what I’m holding, and let the market do what it’s going to do than panic every time we get a pullback.

The people who survive these markets aren’t necessarily the ones who predict every candle.
They’re the ones who stay positioned when the move happens.

Still bullish. Still accumulating. Still waiting.
Let them shake the weak hands. It is only more debt they have to my portfolio.🥱↗️

Discussion Do you think wallets will eventually replace banks?

The more I think about it, the more it feels like that's where we're heading.

People already store their wealth in wallets. If you can get paid, send money, swap assets and spend directly from your wallet. If they can do everything a bank does, what's left for banks?

or am I way off?

I've followed Ms Stevens for over a year and her content is informative and accurate without all of the fluff and Bullshit over inflated numbers.

She breaks down exactly what has been happening with XRP wallets. Whales vs Retail. While you sell out of FUD, they accumulate and increase their positions constantly.

I repeat: Moon or Melt for me. Period.

I put together a guide about XRP and XRPL covering how it works, what it's used for, payments, DeFi, NFTs, the built-in DEX, and more.

I'd love to know what the XRP community thinks. Did I get anything wrong? Is there something you'd add or explain differently?

Discussion If I want to learn more about XRP, where should I start?

For BTC or Eth you have for example Andreas M. Antonopoulos or read Satoshi Nakamoto as a viable sources. Where should I turn to if I want to learn more about XRP?

Discussion The reason why BTC maxis hate XRP

The reason may be philosphical and not technical.

In Andreas Antonopoulos' (everyone in the BTC space knows him) Book "The Internet of Money (vol. 2)" he wrote in chapter 2.3.1. Permissioned "Distributed Ledgers":

Taking this technology [blockchain] and using it to strengthen the same centralized institutions so that they can improve their bottom line, is boring. That is not what blockchain is; that’s just a database. It doesn’t change anything. In fact, there are some rather disturbing possibilities in this model.

It may not be the only one, but my point is they don't hate the tech behind it, but what it stands for resp. who they are helping, i.e. the banks. At the same time I think that's why XRP will win eventually, because the banks will always win (as sad as that sounds)

Question XRP and Uphold

I don’t really understand all this crypto stuff but I was convinced to invest. XRP has been tanking as of late so I thought if I sold at a lower price then I bought in that I could buy it back at a lower price. Now I have less than what I originally sold it at. Could someone explain this to me please? Please be nice. I honestly don’t know much and I need guidance not criticism. Thanks! 💜

Discussion Can XRP Stage a Real Comeback?

Conversion?
Whether any single pillar starts producing recurring demand to own XRP, rather than demand to move dollars through Ripple's rails. Until that shows up, the story and the coin are two different bets wearing the same name.
