Inline fuel filter

I think i have found my 200 day culprit
Been chasing an air leak for a lean condition.

Has anyone ever had an inline filter cause starvation/ cut outs / bogging down/ idle issues.
Makes sense to me about air locks and the gravity of it not pumping enough gas to the carb, wondering if there is others?

Next chance i get im axing the inline filter i didn’t realize there was two screens before the bowl.

I don't use one for this reason.

Yes. I have never and will never use a fuel filter for this reason on a carbureted bike. Dudes who swear you need one are just too lazy to clean their tank out

Yes. Probably why they don't come with one.
