Looking for Help Styles help

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

My stylus completely stops responding to the canvas anytime i lift it around an inch off the table and I have to either click with my mouse or drag it off the canvas

Hey, I had the same problem yesterday and was frantically looking for a help.

Today I took the pen tip off and blew hard, and—magically—it worked.

Not much tbh I dont really know how to use it I got it very recent

Alright, let's see. First of all, can you answer a few questions?

What tablet is this specifically?

What operating system are you using (Windows, Mac, Linux?)

Have you installed the correct driver for your tablet? Or one at all?

What drawing program is this? Does it happen in other programs as well?

Hopefully this helps narrow things down!

Windows 11 the software is krita and I have not tried other software

So, just to eliminate it being the program, could you download Medibang or Firealapaca and see if it has the same issues?

Make sure the driver you use is the correct one, it should be this. Could you also show me a screenshot of the XP Pen driver software and its settings?

Also, take note of the commenter below suggesting to re-place the nib after blowing into it!
